Health Tips

Drink clean water

Install filters or get water delivered. Try to drink half your weight (in pounds) in ounces of water per day; after three days you will see the effect of becoming hydrated. Look for the NSF label for filters and use a reverse osmosis filter system as the final step in the process. The most cost-effective complete, stand-alone filter is by Berkey (with the extra fluoride filter).

Ideally, use glass bottles for all water storage and carrying, do not drink from soft plastic water bottles. Shower in clean water - get a chlorine filter for your shower or chlorine "ball" for your tub (try Rainshow'r).

Eat organic food

Eat hormone-free, 100% grass fed, anti-biotic-free and pesticide-free meat, cheese, and milk. Full fat milk is ideal, as it contains less sugar.

No farmed fish. Check the Environmental Working Group (https://www.ewg.org/) for information on how to select vegetables and fruit. The biggest concerns for pesticide retention are strawberries, spinach, peaches, apples, nectarines, pears, cherries, red raspberries, imported grapes, bell peppers, celery, potatoes, and hot peppers.

Remove toxins in your environment

Consider air duct cleaning, and use non-toxic cleaning materials and non-toxic lawn care. Reduce or eliminate microwave use. Remove Smart Meters and turn off WIFI sources at night. For more information on these issues go to:

Check for sources of mold, especially if there has been a leak anywhere in the house or you smell a musty, sweet, or spicy odor you can’t explain.

If you have silver dental fillings see The International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology - IAOMT and Holistic Dentist in North Bethesda, Maryland | Natural Dentist Associates.

Improve your immune and neurological "bandwidth"

Be proactive!  Find out what your body needs to function at its best. HINT: It's not the RDA's.

Evaluate your toxic metal exposure and retention, detoxification capacity, digestive function, hormone metabolism, and neurotransmitter levels. All of these issues can have significant impacts on health status. There are several testing options available to provide information on each of these factors.

The first step to consider is the Organic Acids Test. For more information go to:
